We are seeking a CDL Driver to join our team here at Allied Gases! You will be responsible for safely operating a truck delivering welding supplies and industrial gases throughout the greater Phoenix area. This is a tough job and not for the fainthearted.

Allied Gases will assist and reimburse drivers who need to obtain their hazmat endorsement.

Responsibilities:

• Safely operate a heavy or tractor-trailer truck
• Safe handling of industrial gas cylinders
• Maintain correct invoice delivery records
• Properly track and document activity log
• Report any issues or incidents to dispatch
• Inspect truck before and after trip

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in truck driving or other related fields
• Commercial driver's license
• Ability to handle physical workload
• Strong work ethic
• Class A CDL
• Verifiable driving history
• No DOT-recordable/preventable accident in past 12 months
• No serious violations in past 36 months, including reckless driving or careless endangerment
• No DUI in past 60 months
• Overall safe driving record
• Felony and misdemeanor charges reviewed case-by-case
• No positive drug or alcohol test.
• These are minimum operator qualification standards subject to DOT requirements, and Allied Gases may impose more stringent requirements at its option. The decision whether to qualify an operator will be made by Allied Gases in its sole discretion and on a case-by-case basis.
