CDL Class B Delivery Driver

Position Summary:

This position is responsible for the safe, secure, and timely deliveries of our products. The delivery trucks include an F-150, 16' Isuzu, F550, F650, and Freightliner and Kenworth flatbeds (all trucks UNDER CDL). The load and location of the delivery will determine which vehicle is used. We are looking for a driver that can do one overnight per week. Class B CDL is required. Specific route details can be discussed in further detail during the interview process. This position is full-time, averaging 40 hours per week.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport deliveries to designated locations.
• Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper handling and securing of items during transit.
• Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients and addressing any delivery-related inquiries.
• Adhere to vehicle pre-check, post-check, and maintenance guidelines.
• Maintain open and honest lines of communication with leadership.
• Adhere to all traffic laws, DOT and safety regulations while driving.
• Maintain accurate delivery records and complete necessary paperwork. Help in the warehouse with various tasks including shipping, receiving, and put away during downtime.

Position Requirements:

• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record
• Class B CDL is required
• Need to obtain a DOT medical card, we can assist with this
• Must maintain confidentiality for sensitive and proprietary information
• Must maintain professional competence, ethical integrity, knowledge, and skills
• Communicates and writes effectively; reads, comprehends, and follows verbal and written instructions
• Establishes and maintains effective work relationships with customers and throughout the company
• Must possess superior customer service skills
• Must follow company policies, procedures, practices, and standards of conduct

Physical Demands:

• Must be able to safely drive for long periods of time
• Regularly required to sit or stand, reach, bend, and move about the facility
• Must be able to lift up to 50bs.

• Usual office, warehouse, and manufacturing conditions will exist such as dust, lighting, noise and temperature fluctuations
• Required to perform other duties as requested, directed, or assigned. Position responsibilities are subject to change.
