About the Role:
Join Johnson Garbage Service Inc as a CDL Class B Driver and play a vital role in keeping our community clean and green! We are looking for dedicated individuals who are passionate about service and safety to help us deliver top-notch waste management solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Operate and drive a Class B commercial vehicle safely and efficiently.
- Collect and transport waste and recycling materials from residential and commercial locations.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance.
- Maintain accurate records of routes, pickups, and any incidents.
- Provide exceptional customer service while interacting with clients and the public.
- Adhere to all local, state, and federal regulations regarding waste disposal.
- Assist in training new drivers and support team members as needed.
- Participate in regular safety meetings and training sessions.
Requirements:
- Valid CDL Class B license with a clean driving record. (Need a 10 year copy )
- Minimum of 2 years of driving experience in a commercial vehicle.
- Strong knowledge of safety protocols and traffic regulations.
- Ability to lift up to70 pounds and perform physical tasks.
- Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
- Dependable, punctual, and able to work early morning shifts.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Experience in waste management or related industry is a plus.
