CDL Class B Driver

Job Summary

The CDL B Driver will be responsible for the safe and timely delivery of building materials to our customers. This role requires excellent driving skills, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to safety and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Safe Driving: Operate a commercial vehicle (CDL B) in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to all traffic laws and company policies.
• Timely Deliveries: Ensure the accurate and timely delivery of building materials to various locations, including construction sites and customer properties.
• Loading/Unloading: Assist with the loading and unloading of materials, ensuring that products are handled carefully to prevent damage.
• Customer Interaction: Provide exceptional customer service by interacting professionally with customers during deliveries.
• Vehicle Maintenance: Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of the delivery vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.
• Compliance: Maintain accurate delivery logs and records and comply with all DOT regulations and company policies.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL B License
• Physical Stamina: Ability to lift heavy materials and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Safety-Oriented: Strong commitment to safety and adherence to safety protocols.
• Customer Service Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Problem-Solving: Ability to handle unexpected situations and make decisions on the go.
• Dependability: Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
• Must be able to lift at least 80lbs

Pay: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour
