Job Description
The Transportation Driver supports client independence and access to services by ensuring safe, reliable transportation to and from scheduled appointments, programs, and obligations using a company vehicle. The Driver promotes dignity, reliability, and client well-being while maintaining professional standards of safety and care.
Both part- and full-time positions are available - afternoons, evenings and weekends.
Responsibilities:
- Provide a Client-First mentality, demonstrating professionalism, respect, and compassion in all interactions.
- Safely operate a company vehicle to transport clients to and from approved destinations while ensuring their well-being in accordance with company policies and traffic regulations.
- Maintain accurate trip logs, mileage reports, and other required transportation documentation.
- Conduct routine vehicle safety checks and promptly report maintenance or safety concerns.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors, staff, and clients to coordinate schedules and respond to transportation needs.
- Adhere to company confidentiality standards, safeguarding client information at all times
Qualifications:
- At least 18 years of age.
- Successful completion of BCI/FBI background check and pre-employment drug screen.
- Possess a Valid Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with passenger endorsement.
- Possess an acceptable driving record (MVR check required) for approval by the company’s insurance carrier.
Skills & Abilities
- Able to effectively utilize smartphone GPS technology.
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills
- Must be willing to undergo criminal background check.
- Must be willing to undergo a driving history background check.
- Able to maintain client confidentiality at all times.
Pay will be BOE.
