CDL Class B Truck Driver

Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience operating various types of trucks, including dump trucks, roll-off trucks, tankers, flatbeds, and tractor-trailers. This role involves route driving and delivering goods safely and efficiently while adhering to all traffic regulations and company policies.

Responsibilities

• Operate and drive different types of trucks, including but not limited to dump trucks, roll-off trucks, tankers, flatbeds, and tractor-trailers.
• Ensure timely delivery of goods to designated locations while following the assigned routes.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of mileage and fuel consumption.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding any delays or issues encountered during the route.
• Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations while driving.
• Assist in loading and unloading cargo as needed.
• Provide excellent customer service when interacting with clients during deliveries.

Experience

• Proven experience as a Truck Driver with a valid commercial driver's license (CDL).
• Familiarity with operating manual transmission vehicles is preferred.
• Experience in route driving and delivery driving is essential.
• Knowledge of safety regulations related to truck driving and cargo handling.
• Ability to navigate using GPS systems or maps effectively.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety practices.
