CDL Delivery Driver - NO NIGHTS OR WEEKEND - Boise ID

Summary:

Get Forklift certified and training on specialty warehouse equipment. Enjoy your personal time with friends/family with a consistent, reliable schedule M-F 4:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., with the opportunity for overtime. Primary duties:

o Plan your daily delivery route.

o Review customer orders and pick stock in the warehouse and load onto the truck to match your delivery route.

o Visit customer locations, unload stock, and place in the appropriate location.

o Assist customers with changes in order size, product back orders, and new products by informing sales representatives.

o This position is categorized as a Safety Sensitive position and will follow State protocols.

o Regular and reliable attendance.

Secondary duties:

o Assist warehouse team in other areas like receiving when possible.

o Operate forklift, cherry picker and electric pallet jacks.

Qualifications:

o CDL Class A required. 23+ and clearing house qualifications.

o Clean driving record and valid medical card required.

o Experience driving a truck or tractor-trailer.

Knowledge, skills, and abilities:

o Be adaptable to changes such as routes or schedules, read and follow the GPS or road map.

o Customer service orientation; good public relations skills.

o Can work without direct supervision.

o Having warehouse knowledge is preferred.

o Meet company and regulatory driving record requirements.

o Move stock using a hand truck or electric pallet jack.

Working Conditions:

o Warehouse, customer location, and truck cab environment. Subject to seasonal weather and local traffic conditions, Overtime and occasional weekends may be available.

o Able to lift up to 50 pounds waist high on a frequent basis and up to 100 pounds with team lift on an occasional basis.
