CDL Dispatch/Transfer Driver

Four Star Freightliner is on the lookout for a skilled Dispatch/Transfer Driver to join our team. In this role, you'll be shuttling trucks between our locations or to customer terminals. We offer flexible scheduling and mostly same-day shuttle runs but some overnight

- We're seeking candidates with a positive, can-do attitude, an excellent driving record, and a Class A or B CDL
Your Responsibilities
- Safely pick up and deliver customer units to and from our Service Department.
- Shuttle Class 6-8 trucks or chase vehicles between dealerships or customer sites across AL, FL & GA
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging positively and delivering necessary paperwork, documentation, or information regarding work performed or any special accommodations.
- Keep vehicles clean and presentable, adhering to company standards.
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and routine maintenance checks as assigned.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Ability to meet insurance requirements
- Valid Class A or B CDL
- Must be able to drive a manual transmission
- Proven knowledge of commercial vehicle equipment and operating systems
- Understanding of federal and state regulations regarding operating trucks
- Resourceful, collaborative team player with the ability to also thrive independently
- Safety Minded
- Ability to lift or move up to 50 lbs. unassisted
- Must participate in a pre-employment background check, physical, and drug screen
