As a CDL Driver, you will be the vital link ensuring timely deliveries while maintaining the highest safety standards. Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles such as tractor-trailers, flatbeds, refrigerated trailers, tankers, dump trucks, and roll-off trucks to transport freight across designated routes.
- Load and unload cargo with precision, utilizing equipment like forklifts when necessary to ensure secure handling of freight.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of your vehicle to identify maintenance needs or safety issues before hitting the road.
- Follow all traffic laws and company policies related to driving, including adherence to hours-of-service regulations.
- Manage route driving efficiently by planning optimal paths to meet delivery schedules while minimizing delays.
- Ensure proper documentation of deliveries, pickups, and vehicle logs for compliance and record-keeping purposes.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch teams regarding delivery statuses, route changes, or any incidents encountered during transit.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with endorsements suitable for operating tractor-trailers, tankers, flatbeds, or refrigerated trailers.
- Proven experience in truck driving, delivery operations, or related roles involving freight transportation.
- Skilled in manual transmission operation and familiar with various truck types including dump trucks and roll-off trucks.
- Knowledge of load securing techniques for different freight types such as freight on flatbeds or in refrigerated trailers.
- Ability to load & unload cargo safely using forklifts or other equipment when required.
- Strong understanding of route driving strategies to optimize delivery times and fuel efficiency.

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
