CDL Driver

Western Window is growing rapidly and is seeking a dependable, customer-oriented Class A CDL Truck Driver to join our growing Team. We are a family-owned window fabricator with a long history in Idaho and a drive to be our Dealer Customers’ premier supplier vinyl windows.

Job Summary:

The ideal candidate will be responsible for loading and unloading windows by hand at various dealer locations. Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds. We operate Monday through Friday with some overtime available. Most routes have 1 or 2 Overnight requirements each week, allowing you to be home with your family on weekends and most evenings! Typical routes include several stops at various Dealer customer locations throughout Idaho and its surrounding states.

Responsibilities:

- Safely drive tractors with 53' trailers and box trucks to transport Windows / Patio Doors to various locations
- Plan routes and meet delivery schedules
- Comply with truck driving rules and regulations as well as company policies
- Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues

Requirements:

- Proven experience as a Truck Driver
- Extensive knowledge of applicable truck driving rules and regulations
- No recent moving or driving violations and must be able to pass driver's medical certificate
- Adaptability and foresight to handle unexpected situations (traffic, weather conditions, etc.)
- Willingness to adhere to assigned routes, schedules, safety procedures, and transportation laws
- Capability for heavy lifting and operating forklifts and pallet jacks
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with team members and clients
