CDL Driver - Class B

T.R.M. Disposal LLC, a locally owned waste management company in Indianola, Iowa, has an immediate need for a Class B Waste Route Driver. Must have air brake endorsement.

• Home each night with routes starting between 4:30 a.m. and 6:30 a.m. and ending between 2:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m., Monday thru Friday and approximately one Saturday per month for two -four hours.

We currently provide trash service in Indianola and surrounding Warren County, are a locally owned, locally operated business where everyone matters! We take pride in the service provided by our dedicated employees to loyal customers. We strive to make a difference every day for our customers.

DUTIES & QUALIFICATIONS

• Pre- and Post- trip inspections
• Operating equipment safely
• Multitasking by using a tablet and running routes safely
• Complete residential or commercial routes timely by servicing a variety of types and sizes of containers associated with the route
• Getting in and out of the truck multiple times daily
• Moving containers to the truck
• Lifting extra items from the ground up possibly weighing up to seventy-five pounds (75 lbs.)
• Working in all types of outdoor weather conditions
• Physical demands may vary by route
• Maintain a positive attitude, interact courteously and professionally with fellow employees and customers
• Lead by example in care and upkeep of the shop, all equipment and tools
• Minimum of Class B CDL with air brakes required
• Successfully complete pre-employment DOT drug screen and physical, lift test required
• Clean driving record, pass a pre-employment criminal background check, MVR check and FMCSA Clearinghouse query
