CDL Driver For Landscaping

Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and dependable CDL Driver to join our dynamic transportation team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating commercial trucks to transport freight , flatbeds, tankers, and other specialized equipment. Your expertise in driving tractor-trailers and handling various types of freight will ensure timely deliveries and excellent service for our customers. Responsibilities

• Safely operate commercial vehicles, including tractor-trailers, across designated routes to deliver freight efficiently and on schedule
• Load and unload cargo using forklifts or other equipment as needed, ensuring proper handling of refrigerated, flatbed, tanker, or roll-off trucks
• Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to verify vehicle safety and compliance with Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations
• Maintain accurate delivery documentation, logs, and route records for all shipments
• Follow all traffic laws and safety procedures while driving on highways, city streets, or rural routes
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers to coordinate pickups and deliveries while providing exceptional customer service
• Assist with securing loads on flatbeds or specialized trailers to prevent shifting or damage during transit

Qualifications

• Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with appropriate endorsements for the type of vehicle operated (e.g., Class A or B)
• Proven experience in truck driving, including delivery driver experience handling freight of various types
• Ability to load & unload freight safely using forklifts or manual methods when necessary
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and safety standards for commercial driving
• Strong route driving skills with the ability to navigate efficiently across different areas
• Physical ability to perform load securement tasks and handle heavy cargo as required
• Will need to help landscaping crew after off loading as needed.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $19.00 per hour
