Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and experienced <PERSON> driver specialized in handling oversized loads over short distances. you will need to know how to drive an 18 speed and operate and rgn detatchable gooseneck semi trailer, the Work isn’t hard but you will have to unhook and hook up to trailer 2 to 5 times a day sometimes if interested apply

Duties

• Safely operate trucks equipped for oversized loads, including flatbeds, tanker trucks, refrigerated trailers, and other specialized equipment over short-distance routes.
• Load and unload freight using appropriate equipment such as forklifts or roll-off trucks, ensuring secure placement for transit.
• Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to verify vehicle safety, load security, and compliance with transportation regulations.
• Plan efficient routes for short-distance deliveries, adhering to all traffic laws and safety protocols.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and team members regarding delivery schedules, route adjustments, or any issues encountered during transit.
• Assist with securing oversized loads using appropriate tie-downs or restraints to prevent shifting or damage during transport.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, load details, inspection reports, and route logs to ensure compliance and accountability.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in truck driving with a focus on freight delivery, especially handling oversized loads over short distances.
• Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with endorsements relevant to the operation of flatbed, tanker, refrigerated trailer, or other specialized trucks.
• Skilled in operating manual transmission vehicles and familiar with various trailer types including flatbeds and roll-off trucks.
• Knowledge of safety regulations related to oversized load transportation and load securing techniques.
• Experience with route planning for freight delivery within urban or regional areas.
• Ability to load & unload freight efficiently using forklifts or other equipment; forklift certification is a plus.
• Strong understanding of vehicle maintenance checks and troubleshooting minor issues on the road. Join us in delivering excellence!
