CDL Driver- Live Fish Hauler

Lochow Ranch Pond & Lake Management has an exciting opportunity for a qualified driver. Lochow Ranch is seeking an experienced CDL driver to transport and deliver live fish to some of the most beautiful properties in Texas and surrounding states as part of our Fisheries Management Plan. Previous fish hauling/stocking experience is not required.

Our fish trucks are comfortable, easy to handle, 40-ft, automatic transmission straight trucks. Drivers must be able to work a flexible schedule and various hours, which will include some evenings, overtime, and weekends. Safe driving is essential.

Paid on-the-job training is provided for fish stocking with no prior experience required.

Qualifications:

• Must be at least 21 years old
• Experienced drivers only
• Have a valid Class A Commercial Driver License (CDL)
• Must have current valid DOT Physical
• Must be able to speak, read, and write in English to communicate with the general public, to understand highway traffic signs and signals in the English language, to respond to official inquiries, and to make entries on reports and records
• No current CDL suspension or revocation
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) and good DAC Report
• Successfully pass a background check
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screen
• Must be able to use handheld technology and smart phone applications such as GPS
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs unassisted
• Must have personal transportation to Bryan, TX, for route start

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
