CDL Driver (Roll Off & Front Load)

Big Yellow Services is seeking a dependable, safety-focused CDL Driver to operate Front Load and Roll-Off trucks on local routes. This is a full-time, year-round position with a stable, family-owned company that values hard work, accountability, and exceptional customer service.

As a driver, you will play a key role in our daily operations. You will be responsible for delivering and servicing containers at residential, commercial, and construction sites while maintaining strong, professional relationships with customers and project managers. This position requires confidence in operating hydraulic equipment, attention to safety, and the ability to work independently without constant supervision.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate front-load and roll-off trucks in compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations
• Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections
• Deliver, exchange, and remove roll-off containers at residential, commercial, and construction sites
• Service front-load containers along designated routes
• Secure loads properly to prevent damage or spillage
• Maintain accurate route logs, inspection reports, and delivery paperwork
• Communicate clearly with dispatch, project managers, and customers
• Provide professional, courteous service while respecting homeowners and job sites
• Keep truck and equipment clean and well-maintained
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures
• Complete routes efficiently and on schedule
• Assist with additional duties as needed

Qualifications

• Valid CDL (Class A or B preferred)
• Clean driving record
• Minimum 2 year of commercial driving experience preferred (roll-off or front-load experience is a plus)
• Ability to safely operate hydraulic equipment
• Strong work ethic and reliability
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physical tasks as required
• Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions
• Excellent time management and communication skills
• Must pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
