CDL Driver(2 Yrs Experience Required)

Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and experienced CDL Driver to join our dynamic transportation team! This role offers an exciting opportunity to operate a variety of commercial trucks, including flatbeds, tankers, dump trucks, and roll-off trucks. As a CDL Driver, you will be responsible for safely delivering freight across designated routes, ensuring timely load and unload operations, and maintaining excellent customer service.

Duties

• Safely operate commercial vehicles such as tractor-trailers, flatbeds, refrigerated trailers, tankers, dump trucks, and roll-off trucks across assigned routes
• Load and unload freight efficiently using appropriate equipment like forklifts when necessary
• Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with DOT regulations
• Deliver freight accurately to various locations while adhering to scheduled routes and delivery windows
• Manage documentation related to deliveries, including bills of lading and delivery logs
• Communicate effectively with dispatch teams regarding route updates or any issues encountered during transit
• Maintain a clean driving record and uphold safety standards at all times

Experience

• Minimum of two years of commercial truck driving experience with a valid CDL license (Class A preferred)
• Proven experience operating manual transmission trucks in diverse environments
• Familiarity with different types of trailers including flatbed, tanker, and dump trucks
• Prior delivery driver experience with a focus on freight handling and route driving
• Ability to load & unload cargo safely using forklifts or other equipment as needed
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and safety protocols for truck drivers
• Experience in handling various freight types such as general cargo, refrigerated goods, or hazardous materials is a plus
