CDL Class A Flatbed Driver

Job Summary

We are seeking a dependable and safety-focused CDL Class A Flatbed Driver to transport materials and equipment to customer locations and job sites. The ideal candidate will have experience operating flatbed trucks, securing loads properly, and delivering excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate CDL Class A flatbed trucks to transport goods and materials
• Load, unload, and secure cargo using straps, chains, tarps, and binders
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
• Ensure all deliveries are completed accurately and on time
• Maintain compliance with DOT regulations and company safety policies
• Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and team members
• Maintain accurate delivery logs, inspection reports, and paperwork
• Assist with warehouse or yard duties when needed
• Report vehicle maintenance issues or safety concerns promptly

QualificationsRequired

• Valid CDL Class A driver’s license
• Clean driving record
• Ability to lift and move heavy materials regularly
• Knowledge of load securement and flatbed safety procedures
• Strong attention to detail and time management skills
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions

Preferred

• Previous flatbed driving experience
• Forklift experience or certification
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and transportation safety standards
• TWIC card or additional endorsements (if applicable)

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds
• Frequent climbing, bending, reaching, and securing loads
• Ability to stand and work for extended periods

Schedule

• Full-time
• Monday–Friday with occasional weekends or overtime as needed
• Local and/or regional routes available

Compensation & Benefits

• Competitive hourly pay or mileage-based pay

Work Environment

Drivers will work in outdoor environments, warehouses, customer locations, and construction or industrial job sites. Safety equipment and adherence to company safety standards are required at all times.

Pay: $1,000.00 - $2,000.00 per week
