CDL Landscape Supply Driver

The Landscape Supply Driver is required to have a valid drivers’ license with a minimum of a CDL level. Safe and courteous driving is required as it is imperative that we keep incidents to a minimum. Additional duties will be assigned by Landscape Manager and other management from time to time.

Additional duties will include:

• May be called upon to drive weekly transfer truck shuttles between the locations.
• Responsible for following transfer and delivery procedures.
• Pick up products from vendors as assigned by management.
• Deliver products to customers’ homes as scheduled on the delivery log book.
• Maintain a current driving log.
• Responsible for a clean vehicle. No trash is to ever be left inside of the cab and the cavity is to be cleaned out at the end of each shift.
• Promptly and efficiently solve customer problems/complaints to the highest level of your ability. When necessary refer to your supervisor or manager.
• Help to maintain a neat and clean bulk yard area.
• Help to maintain the merchandising of the bulk yard and signage.
• Assist in unloading trucks as needed and assigned.
• Be at your assigned area on time.
• Being accountable for knowing all of the company policies and procedures as outlined in the Employee Handbook.
• Present feedback and ideas to the Department Manager regarding product movement, policies and procedures, and customer requests.
• Stay current on product knowledge throughout the landscape supply and bulk yard areas of the company.
• Required to secure loads and drive a moffet forklift, unloading themselves at most times.

May be part of the winter snow removal team for the store’s parking lot. Help out with store projects as assigned by Management. Time Requirements: Might be Seasonal. Full time, not guaranteed. 30- 38 hour work weeks will be the norm. Company Blackout Periods apply. This may change as management sees fit.

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
