CDL Residential Route-Waste Collector Float

JOB OVERVIEW:
Earthbound is seeking professional, reliable and experienced CDL Residential Route Drivers/Pickers to join our team of waste management specialists! All applicants for this position must provide proof of current CDL License (*minimum of Class B required) and completion of all requirements related to holding this license. Applicants must also have a clear MVR and Medical Card and be able to pass necessary drug/alcohol screening. Reliable transportation to/from work (operations and routes based out of Eau Claire) as well as a motor vehicle background check and clean driving record is necessary. A soft background check will also be completed.

Available positions: Full & Part Time

Residential routes are typically completed Monday-Thursday. NO WEEKENDS!

Pay: Based on experience and skills.

RESPONSIBILITIES (including, but not limited to):
* Complete up to 100-200+ stops daily for residential customers, utilizing a non-automated truck. This requires physically exiting the hauling vehicle at each stop, manipulating curbside containers (and the waste within them as necessary), and re-entering the hauling vehicle.

* Assist with curbside deliveries/pick-ups to residential and commercial accounts as necessary.

* Assist with general compost facility tasks, including routine vehicle inspections and light to moderate vehicle maintenance as necessary.

* Operating vehicles with a gross weight exceeding 26,000 lbs.

* Managing daily residential routes/activities in an efficient and organized manner.

* Operating non CDL motorized vehicles and other light to heavy equipment including, but not limited to tractor, skid steer, vertical mixer, etc.

* Use of trailers as well as electric & gas-powered tools.

* Follow assigned routes and schedules.

* Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance.

* Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations.

QUALIFICATIONS:
* Valid CDL driver's license (minimum Class B) with a clean driving record (MVR will be required). Minimum 1 year experience.

* Clear Medical Card that is up to date/current.

* Ability to lift at least 50# and complete physical activity throughout the working day.

*No medical or physical restrictions in place.

* Ability to physically complete 100-200+ stops daily for residential customers, utilizing a non-automated truck.

* Experience in driving in a route related position would be beneficial.

* Strong knowledge of local roads and routes would be beneficial.

* Ability to work in all conditions, including cold, heat, snow, rain, etc. is necessary.

* Strong time management skills to meet efficiency expectations.

* Strong communication and customer service skills.

* Ability to work independently as well as alongside others, in a productive and respectful manner.
