Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and safety-conscious CDL Roll-Off Driver to join our dynamic team. In this vital role, you will operate specialized roll-off trucks to transport and dispose of waste materials efficiently and responsibly. Your expertise in commercial driving, heavy lifting, and truck operation will ensure smooth collection, loading, and unloading processes across various job sites. Duties

• Safely operate roll-off trucks, including front loader, rear loader, dump trucks, flatbeds, and tractor-trailers, ensuring compliance with all traffic laws and safety regulations
• Load and unload waste containers using mechanical knowledge of different truck types and lifting techniques
• Drive heavy-duty trucks with manual transmissions over short and long distances to designated disposal or recycling facilities
• Perform routine inspections of trucks before and after shifts, checking for mechanical issues and ensuring vehicle safety
• Assist with the loading and unloading of materials manually when necessary, utilizing heavy lifting skills to prevent injury
• Maintain accurate logs of deliveries, pickups, fuel usage, maintenance needs, and route details for reporting purposes
• Follow all safety protocols during operations to prevent accidents or injuries on-site or on the road

Skills

• Strong mechanical knowledge of various truck types including front loader, rear loader, roll-off, dump trucks, flatbeds, and tractor-trailers
• Proven experience as a commercial driver with a valid CDL license (Class A or B as required)
• Hands-on experience with heavy lifting and manual load handling in a safe manner
• Skilled in operating manual transmission vehicles confidently in diverse environments
• Knowledge of load & unload procedures specific to waste management equipment
• Ability to navigate routes efficiently while adhering to safety regulations and traffic laws
• Excellent communication skills for coordinating with team members and site personnel
