CDL Roll Off Driver

Job Overview:

ScrapCo Metal Recycling is seeking a dependable and experienced CDL Roll-Off Driver to join our team. The driver will be responsible for the safe and timely transportation of roll-off containers to and from customer locations, job sites, and our facility. This role is crucial in ensuring our recycling operations run smoothly, providing excellent service to our clients and contributing to our company's commitment to sustainable metal recycling.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate roll-off trucks to transport containers between customers, job sites, and ScrapCo facilities.
• Load and unload containers, ensuring materials are secure for transit.
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and report any maintenance needs.
• Interact professionally with customers, answering questions and addressing any pickup or delivery concerns.
• Maintain accurate logs, receipts, and necessary documentation as required by ScrapCo and DOT regulations.
• Follow all local, state, and federal regulations for the safe operation of commercial vehicles.
• Adhere to ScrapCo's safety policies and procedures, promoting a safe work environment.

Qualifications:

• Valid Class A or Class B CDL with a clean driving record.
• Previous experience operating roll-off trucks preferred, ideally in the recycling or waste management industry.
• Familiarity with DOT regulations and safety procedures for commercial driving.
• Strong commitment to safety, punctuality, and professionalism.
• Ability to lift heavy materials as needed.
• Effective communication and customer service skills.

Working Conditions:

• Full-time, typically Monday through Friday, with occasional weekends as required.
• Work may involve exposure to varying weather conditions, heavy equipment, and high-traffic sites.
