CDL Septic Truck Driver & Operator

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable CDL driver to run one of our pump trucks. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in commercial driving and have some septic knowledge. This role requires a commitment to maintaining high standards of service while adhering to all safety regulations. When not operating the truck you will be asked to help out on the excavating side of install or repairs of septic systems.

Duties

• Operate a septic vac truck.
• Pumping out septic tanks.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections on vehicles to ensure they are in safe operating condition.
• Navigate routes effectively using maps or GPS systems while adhering to traffic laws.
• Communicate with owner regarding delays, and any issues encountered on the road or the job.
• Manage Pumping and Dumping of contents of the tanker.
• Manual labor work such as using a hand shovel or track hoe.

Skills

• Proven experience in truck driving with a focus on commercial driving.
• Proficiency in operating manual transmission vehicles.
• Familiarity with tractor-trailer configurations and their operation.
• Experience with route driving and knowledge of local roadways.
• Ability to handle sewage.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail in vehicle maintenance.
• Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with owner and clients.

Requirements

• Must have valid Class B and manual endorsement or ability to get.
• Be able to lift push pull 100 pounds.
• Must be 25 years old with clean driving record (per insurance requirements).
• Ability to work around sewage.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
