CDL Trash Truck Driver

Description
We are a rapidly growing full service waste management company located in Spring Branch, TX. We are seeking a Class A or B CDL Driver to operate a trash truck. We are not a seasonal business the work is consistent year round as waste never goes away. Ideal candidate will live within 30 Minutes of our yard in Spring Branch, TX.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Ensure assigned unit is fully fueled, safe to operate, and that the required paperwork is on board before leaving the yard
• Perform Pre/Post Trip Inspections Daily on assigned units
• Perform consistent courteous work
• Must be available for scheduled shifts, including weekends and holidays
• Responsible for tracking personal DOT Compliance and and reporting to supervisor immediately if in danger of becoming non-compliant
• Other Duties as assigned

Qualifications & Requirements

• One Year of related heavy duty truck driving experience and/or specialized training.
• Must be able to demonstrate truck driving/handling skills
• Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision
• Tanker Experience is preferred

Required Licenses/Certifications

• Valid Texas Class A or B CDL
• Safe driving record for last 5 years with no serious accidents or violations
• A Valid Medical Card
• Must be willing to comply with a background check and drug test

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $1,250.00 - $1,750.00 per week
