DutiesResponsibilities

Safely operate a commercial truck or tractor-trailer to transport goods to various destinations.

Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good working order.

Adhere to all traffic laws, company policies, and safety guidelines to ensure safe driving practices.

Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, mileage, and delivery details.

Ensure timely delivery of goods to customers and clients as per schedules.

Handle and secure freight safely to prevent damage during transportation.

Communicate effectively with management to report any issues or delays.

Comply with all state and federal regulations governing the operation of commercial vehicles.

Assist with loading and unloading goods when necessary.
Qualifications

Must possess a valid CDL Class A.

Tank Endorsement
-
Minimum of 3 years of professional driving experience.

Clean driving record with no major traffic violations or accidents.

Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and safety standards.

Ability to operate manual and automatic transmission vehicles.

Strong time-management and organizational skills.

Excellent communication skills and ability to interact with customers and team members.

Physical ability to load and unload goods, lift heavy objects, and drive for extended hours.
Working Conditions
