Good Transport Services is seeking qualified applicants for its Bulk Feed Truck Driver position. We are currently hiring for our Mount Joy, PA location. This position will operate both a tractor-trailer or a straight-truck..

Primary Responsibilities:

The Bulk Feed Truck Driver is responsible to load, transport, and unload feed between the mill and the customer, and ensure the care of company and customer property. Essential functions of the role include:

• Responsible to load, transport, and unload bulk feed between the mill and the customer in a timely and efficient manner (bulk tank trucks - use of auger/blower)
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections, ensuring safety of the vehicle
• Drive in a safe manner, maintain proper company image while on the road and at customer locations, and deliver loads of a gross weight up to 95,000 lbs.
• **Must be comfortable climbing up/down ladder to top of truck, as well as be able to occasionally lift up to 50-75 pound bags

Qualifications:

• Valid Class A (preferred) or B CDL and good driving record
• Air Brakes Endorsement & ability to operate a CMV with a manual transmission
• Successful completion of DOT physical and drug screen

Schedule & Benefits:

• Regular schedule is Monday-Friday
• Start time - Between 4:00AM-6:00AM
• Day shift, home every day.
• 10-12 hour days (average week 50-55 hours, opportunity for more hours in the future)

• Paid hourly, with overtime pay (1.5x) after 40 hours/week. Listed starting annual range reflects a 50-60 hour workweek (base rate/OT included)
