Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook authentic dishes such as pasta, pizza, risotto, sauces, and antipasti
  • Manage the Italian kitchen section and ensure smooth daily operations
  • Ensure food quality, portion control, and presentation meet restaurant standards
  • Follow hygiene, sanitation, and food safety standards (HACCP)
  • Assist in menu planning and recipe development
  • Monitor stock levels and reduce food wastage
  • Supervise and train junior kitchen staff
  • Ensure proper use and maintenance of kitchen equipment
  • Coordinate with Sous Chef and Head Chef for service requirements

Skills & Requirements

  • Proven experience as Chef or CDP
  • Strong knowledge of cooking techniques and ingredients
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent time management and teamwork skills
  • Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards
  • Basic to good English communication skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RO250.000 - RO260.000 per month

Experience:

  • Italian cuisine: 4 years (Required)
