CE Equipment Technician/Mechanics MUST HAVE 5 EXP

Burks Tractor Company, a Farm and Construction Equipment Parts, Sales, and Service Dealership, seeks Experienced Diesel Technicians for Shop & Field positions
We are a growing and fast paced business that is looking to expand our in shop / field personnel. Travel is required by field techs for field calls only.

Requirements -

  • You must be an Experienced Diesel Technician/Mechanic.
  • Applicants should be experienced in troubleshooting and diagnosing engine, hydraulic, power train, air conditioning, and electrical systems.
  • The candidate must be able to use electronic service tools (EST), work with online service and parts manuals, and have excellent customer service skills.
  • The candidate needs to be personable, self-motivated, show a willingness to research difficult problems, and handle and prioritize multiple tasks.
  • The candidate must be able to manage their time, be a team player, and work well under the high paced atmosphere of this department.

Responsibilities

  • Perform diagnostics and repairs on agricultural equipment and machinery, ensuring optimal performance and safety.
  • Utilize hand tools and heavy equipment to conduct maintenance tasks, including hydraulic and transmission work.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client concerns and explaining repair processes.
  • Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot complex mechanical issues and implement effective solutions.
  • Maintain accurate records of service performed and parts used for each job.

Summary

As a Field/Shop AG Equipment Technician/Mechanic, you will be essential in diagnosing and repairing agricultural equipment, ensuring optimal performance and reliability. Reporting to the Service Manager, you will leverage your mechanical knowledge and automotive diagnostics skills to address complex issues. Your experience in customer service will enhance client relationships, while your proficiency with hand tools and heavy equipment operation will ensure efficient repairs. Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to $55.00 per hour
