Position Overview

We’re seeking an experienced Roofing and Ceiling Repair Technician to join our maintenance team. This role involves identifying, repairing, and preventing water damage and structural issues on roofs and ceilings in residential properties.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform roof repairs including shingle replacement, leak patching, and structural reinforcement
• Inspect and repair ceilings damaged by leaks, cracks, or structural issues
• Identify underlying causes of roof or ceiling damage (e.g., water intrusion, rot, mold)
• Use appropriate tools and materials to complete repairs efficiently and safely
• Ensure all repairs comply with safety and building codes
• Coordinate with the maintenance and property management teams on work orders
• Document completed repairs and recommend further action if needed

Requirements

• Proven experience in residential roofing and ceiling repair
• Ability to safely use ladders, scaffolding, and power tools
• Strong knowledge of roofing materials (shingles, underlayment, flashing, etc.)
• Drywall and ceiling patching experience preferred
• Must have own vehicle and tools
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple repair jobs
• Strong problem-solving and attention to detail
• Good communication and reliability
