Cemetery Ground Maintenance Technician

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced, professional worker who has knowledge in landscape maintenance. Full time position . Cemetery experience preferred.

Responsibilities and Duties

Grounds maintenance workers typically do the following:

Mow, edge, and fertilize lawns

Weed and mulch landscapes

Trim hedges, shrubs, and small trees

Remove dead, damaged, or unwanted trees

Plant flowers, trees, and shrubs

Water lawns, landscapes, and gardens

Install lighting and sprinkler systems on the grounds

Dig graves to specified depths

Apply herbicides, fungicides, or insecticides on plants or the soil to prevent or control weeds, insects, and diseases.

Qualifications and Skills

The ideal candidate should have experience in grounds keeping, landscaping, construction with a landscaping background, or grounds maintenance. Cemetery experience preferred.

Additional experience in gardening and horticulture is also desired.
