Summary

We are seeking a Center-Based Behavior Technician to join our team in Rochelle Park. In this role, you will play a crucial part in supporting individuals with developmental disabilities, particularly those on the autism spectrum, by implementing behavioral therapy strategies and fostering an environment of hope and dignity.

Responsibilities

• Implement individualized behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a licensed professional.
• Collect and analyze data to monitor progress and adjust interventions as needed.
• Provide direct support to clients in a center-based setting.
• Collaborate with families and other team members to ensure comprehensive care.
• Maintain accurate documentation of client progress and treatment plans.
• Educate clients and families about behavioral strategies and techniques.
• Uphold confidentiality standards in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development.

• Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in psychology, special education, or a related field preferred.
• Experience working with children, particularly those with developmental disabilities or autism.
• Strong understanding of applied behavior analysis principles.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
• Compassionate approach towards individuals with special needs.
• Ability to collect and analyze data effectively.
• Familiarity with medical documentation practices is a plus.
