Center Director at a Thriving Tutoring and Learning Center - Full Time

Since 1977, Huntington Learning Centers have been changing the lives of children. Now, our Center in North Scottsdale needs your help! We currently have an exciting opportunity to join Huntington Learning Center in North Scottsdale as a Center Director.

The role of the Center Director is to manage the daily operations of a K-12 learning center, ensuring consistent execution of excellent customer service that leads to top line revenue growth in your center. The role is currently held by the business owner who will help to onboard and train you for success in the role.

• Management of the center’s day-to-day operations and staff
• Ensuring that each student in your center has an exceptional and successful experience at Huntington
• Full responsibility for managing revenue, expenses, operations, and marketing goals
• Conducting all meetings with new, potential, and existing families
• Manage all center activities and their quality
• Marketing Huntington tutoring and test prep services to schools and your surrounding community
• Leading, developing, and motivating center staff through daily, weekly, monthly meetings
• Setting and achieving monthly, weekly, and daily enrollment goals
• Monitoring and tracking center performance, revenues, expenses, and fee collection
• Providing optimal customer service leading to student success and high retention rates
• Establishing and maintaining collaborative relationships with teachers, educational specialists, parent/teacher organizations and other school administrators
• Demonstrating a high level of staff morale and spirit
• 4-year Bachelor’s degree required
• Management and direct service/sales experience preferred
• Minimum 3 years of management and/or service sales experience a plus
• Supplemental education sales experience is a plus
• Educational teaching experience a plus
• Outstanding customer service and communication skills are essential
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment that requires high levels of self-motivation and autonomy
• Requires full-time availability: minimum in-person working hours are Monday through Thursday from 11:30am to 8:00pm and Saturday from 9:00am to 2:00pm. Weekday hours may shift earlier during summer hours.
• Be willing and able to work outside regular business hours as necessary, on occasion
• Must submit to and pass a background check
• Competitive annual salary, depending on experience and qualifications, up to $55,000
• Discretionary bonus structure: Eligible for uncapped bonus, subject to personal performance and achievement of center goals

At Huntington, our mission is to give every student the best education possible. We accomplish our mission by building skills, confidence, and motivation so students can succeed academically and reach their fullest potential. We help students from Kindergarten through 12th grade. Our teachers are experts in reading, writing, mathematics, study skills, phonics, vocabulary, and test prep. Our test prep programs can prepare your child for the ACT, SAT, ASVAB, GED and various high school entrance exams, such as the HSPT.

We are conveniently located at the corner of Pinnacle Peak Road and Miller Road in North Scottsdale, which is easily accessible from the 101 and Hayden. We serve students throughout the Paradise Valley Unified School District (PVUSD), Scottsdale Unified School District (SUSD), and Cave Creek Unified School District (CCUSD), as well as private and non-public schools.

Position is in-person at our Center in North Scottsdale. Expected schedule would 12pm-8pm Monday-Thursday and Saturday from 9am-12pm during the school year.

Pay: $45,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
