Position Overview

The Center Manager –Pediatrics and School Based Health Centers will oversee all clinical components of the program. The Center Manager must abide by various regulatory compliance rules and must always treat patients with dignity and respect.

General Responsibilities

  • Responsible for managing the staff which includes an optician, patient access representatives, and medical assistant.
  • Responsible for budgeting, staff training, and staff performance evaluations.
  • Manager will ensure effective patient flow and exceptional patient care.
  • Must effectively deal with conflict and resolve patient and/or employee complaints and concerns.
  • Will develop and implement process and procedure changes.
  • Leads and takes part in management committees focused on improving and expanding the organization.
  • Will mentor clinical staff to encourage growth and develop future leaders.
  • Approximately 20 hours per week dedicated to managing the center.
  • Approximately 10 hours per week dedicated to providing nurse visits for all sites, including annual wellness visits for patients who have Medicare insurance.
  • Will collaborate with schools and attend alliance meetings.
  • Coordinate and manage health fairs associated with partner schools and their students.
  • Responsible for meeting with school nurses, ensuring lifetime consents are completed, and will work with school staff on days students are to be seen.

Qualifications

  • Graduation from an accredited school of nursing required.
  • Registered Nurse License in the state of Ohio required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred or current enrollment in a BSN program required.
  • 5+ years of nursing experience required.
  • 3+ years of clinical management experience preferred.
  • Windows-based computer experience required.
  • EPIC experience preferred.

Pay: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year

Education:
