Center Operations Coordinator
Non-Exempt / Full-Time / 40 Hours per week
Overview:
The Center Services Coordinator provides administrative and operational support to ensure the efficient day-to-day functioning of the FiftyForward Bordeaux Center. This position is responsible for front desk operations, membership processing, reservations management, database maintenance, and general office support.
This role supports the execution of programs and operational processes as directed by the Center Director and Regional Director. The position does not have supervisory authority or independent policy-making responsibility.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develops annual operating plans and service initiatives while collaborating with the Center Director and Regional Center Director on the center’s annual operating budget.
- Collaborates with the Center Director to ensure operational consistency.
- Communicates consistently with members regarding program & center activities.
- Maintains professional and welcoming member engagement.
- Processes new memberships, renewals, and member payments in a timely and accurate manner.
- Maintains accurate electronic and physical records, including MySeniorCenter data, attendance tracking, program rosters, participation metrics, revenue entries, reports, and expense documentation.
- Manages all third-party enrollment and documentation.
- Provides reservations and scheduling support by coordinating program room reservations, maintaining facility scheduling calendars, and communicating confirmed room assignments and updates to staff.
- Coordinates with building partners and participates in monthly collaboration meetings to ensure building operational procedures are consistently aligned.
- Provides logistical support for events and fundraising activities.
- Assists in the preparation of flyers, calendars, newsletters, and promotional materials.
- Coordinates office supply requests with the Administrative Assistant and monitors inventory levels to ensure operational needs are met.
- Facilitates maintenance requests and communicates with appropriate personnel to address office equipment issues.
- Participates in bi-weekly supervisions with the Regional Director.
Qualifications:
- Associate degree required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- 2+ years administrative or customer service experience preferred.
- Experience with databases, scheduling, or membership systems helpful.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a member-focused environment.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to sit or stand for extended periods.
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally.
- Ability to operate standard office equipment.
Work Environment:
This position operates within a community-based center serving adults age 50+. The role requires consistent interaction with members, volunteers, and staff.
