Job Summary:
The Central Control Operator is responsible for:
- Providing oversight of automated train control equipment
- Manually intervening during downtime/recovery events
- Dispatching recovery teams consisting of Operation & Maintenance Technicians
- Responding to system failures – recover transit vehicles and restore system operations
- Making customer announcements via platform PA systems
- Maintaining accurate and complete documentation of all Monorail activity
- Managing of Headways, service levels, radio communications, monitoring applicable CCTV systems, automatic fare gates, ticket vending machines, spare train utilization, trouble shooting, and any other functions which affect or could affect the delivery of customer service.
Qualifications:
Must be able to work weekends, evenings, holidays and overtime as needed.
1 year of experience in customer service or dispatch
