Schedule: Monday-Friday 9:00 am - 2:00 pm

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dependable and safety-conscious Central Dispatch Driver to join our team. In this role, you will report directly to the Branch Manager for daily dispatch and priority tasks, with responsibilities including loading and unloading heavy equipment, ensuring timely deliveries, and providing excellent service to our customers. Your role is critical in maintaining smooth operations and ensuring customer satisfaction by delivering products in an efficient, safe, and professional manner.
Responsibilities:
  • Report directly to the Branch Manager for daily dispatch and priority tasks.
  • Loading/unloading of heavy equipment and supplies for delivery to contractors/customers and ensuring all customers receive excellent service efficiently, professionally, and respectfully.
  • Report any accidents or vehicle damage promptly to management.
  • Follow all safety protocols and company policies, including the use of seat belts, protective equipment, and safe driving practices.
  • Adhere to local, state, and federal traffic laws, including speed limits, weight restrictions, and other road regulations.
  • Communicate regularly with dispatchers or supervisors for updates on routes, deliveries, and any changes to the schedule.
  • Manage time efficiently to meet delivery deadlines, taking into account traffic conditions and other obstacles.
  • Perform basic vehicle maintenance tasks like checking fluid levels, cleaning the vehicle, and reporting mechanical issues to supervisors or fleet managers.
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
  • Ability to maintain a valid DOT Medical Card
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • CDL preferred but not required
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Full range of motion and dexterity to handle equipment and supplies
  • Professional appearance and demeanor
