Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly responsible and detail-oriented Central Station Operators to join our security team. In this role, you will be the first line of defense in responding to alarm signals, handling emergency-related calls, and ensuring the safety of our customers. The ideal candidate is calm under pressure, customer-focused, and able to quickly analyze and respond to security alerts.
Responsibilities:
- Answer inbound emergency calls related to burglar alarms, fire alarms, panic alarms, and other security concerns.
- Monitor alarm signals and respond immediately with accuracy, following provided protocols.
- Dispatch appropriate authorities when necessary.
- Make outbound calls to verify alarms and notify responsible parties.
- Accurately document all alarm responses within the alarm monitoring software.
- Assist technicians and installers in verifying alarm signals.
- Address security, fire, and life safety concerns with customers and alarm dealers.
- Provide exceptional customer service by answering inquiries and directing calls.
- Apply company policies and procedures to resolve customer concerns effectively.
- Process, update, and maintain customer records with accuracy.
- Perform data entry tasks and assist with documentation and filing.
- Support various administrative tasks as needed.
