Central Transport Auditor – School Bus Operations

Location: Head Office – Raipur, Chhattisgarh

About the Role

We are looking for a Central Transport Auditor to oversee, analyze, and improve the transportation operations across our network of schools. The role involves regular audits, data analysis, and reporting to ensure safe, efficient, and cost-effective school bus operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct periodic audits of school bus routes across all 6 schools
• Analyse route planning, trip efficiency, and optimization opportunities
• Monitor fuel consumption, identify variances, and recommend improvements
• Review vehicle maintenance records, breakdown patterns, service schedules
• Check driver performance, logbook accuracy, GPS tracking reports
• Ensure compliance with RTO norms, safety standards, and school policies
• Prepare detailed monthly & quarterly reports for management
• Coordinate with transport in-charges at all school locations
• Travel regularly to different school sites as required

Requirements

• Graduate in any discipline; preference for candidates with experience in transport/logistics/fleet audits
• Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Excel/GPS software
• Knowledge of school transportation rules & safety norms preferred
• Willingness to travel frequently to schools across different locations
• Excellent communication & reporting skills

Work Location

Head Office: Raipur, with field visits to all 6 schools.

Salary

Commensurate with experience.
