We are seeking a passionate and experienced Preschool Centre Head who will have a overall leadership, management, and smooth functioning of the preschool. This role involves overseeing academics, administration, staff management, parent relations, safety, compliance, and business growth, ensuring that the preschool delivers a nurturing, engaging, and high-quality learning environment for children.
Key Responsibilities
Curriculum Development & Implementation
- Design age-appropriate curriculum frameworks, lesson plans, thematic units, and activity guides that foster curiosity, creativity, and foundational skills.
- Integrate play-based, inquiry-driven, and hands-on learning experiences across core developmental areas including language, literacy, numeracy, science, arts, motor skills, and social-emotional learning.
- Ensure curriculum supports multiple learning styles, diverse learners, and inclusive classroom practices.
Standards & Assessment Alignment
- Align curriculum with local/state early learning standards (e.g., NAEYC, Finish Early Years Learning).
- Develop observation tools, checklists, and simple assessments to track developmental milestones and readiness skills.
- Support educators in interpreting assessment data to personalize instruction and scaffold learning.
· Implement and monitor the prescribed curriculum and ensure age-appropriate teaching practices.

· Guide teachers in lesson planning, teaching strategies, and classroom management.

· Conduct regular classroom observations and provide constructive feedback to educators.

· Ensure continuous enhancement of learning methods and activities
Educator Collaboration & Support
- Provide training, resources, and ongoing coaching to preschool educators on curriculum implementation, classroom management, and effective instructional strategies.
- Observe classrooms to evaluate curriculum fidelity and identify areas for improvement.
- Gather feedback from staff and families to continuously improve curriculum content and delivery.
Materials & Environment Planning
- Recommend and design developmentally appropriate classroom materials, learning centres, and environmental setups to support curriculum goals.
- Ensure that learning environments are safe, welcoming, and rich in literacy, numeracy, and creative expression opportunities.
Family Engagement
- Create family-friendly resources and communications to explain learning objectives and offer ideas for at-home learning.
- Incorporate family culture and input into curriculum themes and activities when appropriate.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in early childhood education, Child Development, Curriculum & Instruction, or a related field (master’s degree preferred).
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in preschool teaching and/or early childhood curriculum development.
- In-depth knowledge of early childhood education principles, developmental stages, and child-cantered pedagogy.
- Experience developing curriculum aligned to early learning standards.
- Strong organizational, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and/or curriculum planning tools.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with Reggio Emilia, Montessori, HighScope, or other progressive early learning philosophies.
- Experience working with diverse populations, including dual language learners and children with special needs.
- Knowledge of social-emotional learning frameworks like Conscious Discipline or Second Step.
- Bilingual or multilingual abilities.
Work Environment
- Travel may be required for on-site training at multiple preschool locations.
- Flexibility to conduct both in-person and virtual training sessions.
