I need help this week so I plan on hiring someone as a one-week temporary employee.

Long-term, I'm looking for a true right hand. Short-term, I need someone smart, reliable, organized, and comfortable jumping into a wide variety of tasks immediately.

This is not a traditional executive assistant position.

My company provides marketing, AI development, and web development services. One of our major clients is a billion-dollar company. Some days you'll help coordinate projects. Some days you'll help with research. Some days you'll help me organize priorities. Most days you'll sit next to me or screen share on Zoom and help with typing, clicking, and getting things done. (My right arm is a bit busted up at the moment and healing slowly so I need help typing and clicking) occasionally running errands is part of the job.

The work might include the following sample tasks plus more:

Organizing projects and the steps of projects and making sure they get completed by others.

Building and using simple spreadsheets.

Putting written content into WordPress.

Taking a broken computer to be repaired.

Going to the UPS Store to return Amazon returns.

Creating filters in Gmail for junk mail.

Running a web page through an AI to proofread it.

Being on a Zoom call with a billion-dollar company, going over where we are with a given project.

Letting a contractor into my home so they can finish tile work.

Having a two-hour conversation with an AI to figure out the details of an email that we're going to send out for a client.

Sending out emails to schedule a call on a given subject that I'm going to have.

If you're looking for a rigid corporate environment, this is probably not the right fit.

Work may happen at my home, a Community Neighborhood Clubhouse, a coffee shop, a public workspace, or occasionally at the beach. My son may occasionally be around. One moment we might be discussing AI strategy, and the next we might be coordinating project tasks or preparing for a client meeting.

The right person is:

* Smart and curious.

* Comfortable with technology.

* Already uses ChatGPT, grok, or Claude multiple times per day.

* Skilled at Google Drive

* Good with Google Sheets

* Proficient with Google Docs

* Excited about AI.

* Comfortable with numbers.

* Organized.

* Reliable.

* Comfortable asking questions.

* Comfortable speaking with clients.

* Comfortable switching between casual and professional environments.

* Interested in becoming a trusted extension of the CEO rather than simply completing assigned tasks.

* Genuinely interested in other people and helping them solve their problems

AI is a major part of our business and daily workflow. You do not need to be an AI expert, but you should be genuinely interested in AI and naturally, already find yourself using it constantly.

QuickBooks experience is a plus.

Interest in learning bookkeeping is a plus.

Direct communication with clients is part of this role, so you should be comfortable speaking professionally on Zoom and in real-time conversations.

COMPENSATION

* Generally $35–45/hour depending on capability, experience, and fit.

* Exceptional candidates may earn more.

* Strong performers may grow into a larger role over time.

Keep it simple. I am not looking for a polished production. I am looking for how you think.
