.Job Title: Ceramic Tile Layer

Job Purpose:
To install, repair, and finish ceramic, porcelain, marble, granite, and other types of tiles on floors, walls, ceilings, and other surfaces, ensuring high-quality workmanship and compliance with project specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work orders to determine tile layout and design.
• Prepare surfaces by cleaning, leveling, and applying waterproofing or adhesive materials.
• Measure and cut tiles accurately using hand tools, tile cutters, or power tools.
• Mix, apply, and spread adhesives, mortars, and grouts.
• Lay tiles in required patterns, alignments, and levels with precision.
• Install decorative trims, borders, and specialty tiles as specified.
• Repair and replace damaged or broken tiles.
• Ensure all work meets safety standards and project timelines.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean worksite.
• Collaborate with other construction workers, site supervisors, and clients.
• Skills and Qualifications:
• Proven experience as a tile layer, tiler, or similar role in construction.
• Knowledge of various types of tiles (ceramic, porcelain, marble, granite, mosaic).
• Ability to measure, cut, and align tiles with accuracy.
• Familiarity with adhesives, mortars, grout, and waterproofing techniques.
• Strong physical stamina and manual dexterity.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow design specifications.
• Basic math skills for measuring and layout.
• Commitment to safety practices.
• Experience: Minimum 2years of experience in tile setting or related field.

• Work may involve standing, bending, kneeling, and lifting for extended periods.
