Certified Accountant Wanted– Medical Clinic (Dubai, UAE)

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail‑oriented Certified Accountant to join our medical clinic in Dubai. The ideal candidate will oversee all financial operations, ensure accurate bookkeeping, strengthen internal controls, and support the clinic’s overall financial health. This role requires strong technical accounting expertise, a proactive mindset, and the ability to work in a fast‑paced healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities

Bookkeeping & Financial Records

  • Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date financial records for all clinic operations
  • Record daily transactions, including patient billing, vendor invoices, payments, and receipts
  • Reconcile bank statements, petty cash, and accounts regularly
  • Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable cycles efficiently

Internal Controls & Compliance

  • Develop, implement, and monitor internal control procedures to safeguard clinic assets
  • Ensure compliance with UAE accounting standards, VAT regulations, and healthcare‑related financial requirements
  • Conduct periodic audits of financial processes and recommend improvements
  • Prepare documentation for external audits and liaise with auditors when required

Financial Reporting & Analysis

  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
  • Generate management reports, including cash flow, budgeting, and variance analysis
  • Support financial planning and forecasting activities
  • Provide insights to management to support decision‑making and operational efficiency

Clinic‑Specific Accounting Tasks

  • Coordinate with insurance companies regarding claims, reconciliations, and payment follow‑ups
  • Monitor revenue cycles, including patient billing accuracy and collection timelines
  • Track medical inventory costs and support procurement with financial oversight
  • Ensure proper allocation of expenses across departments and services

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • Professional certification such as CPA, ACCA, CMA, or equivalent (mandatory)
  • Minimum 5 years of accounting experience; healthcare or clinic experience preferred
  • Strong knowledge of UAE VAT laws and local financial regulations
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Tally, or similar)
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently with high attention to detail

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Temporary, Contract
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: AED2,500.00 - AED6,000.00 per month

Expected hours: No less than 45 per week
