Certified Arborist Sales Representative

Job Duties

• The arborist will be expected to work Monday-Friday during the work week.
• The arborist will travel to client's properties to assess tree care needs on an as needed basis as well as per the client’s needs/requests.
• The arborist will be responsible to schedule /communicate client appointments with the office staff and/or clients as well as assist as needed with the owners and/or office staff regarding client scheduling.
• The arborist will need to assess projects for equipment, safety/hazard concerns, assess town/neighbor permissions, man hours required to complete a project, the overall level of difficulty, as well as establish a price based on all of the above criteria while accounting for market allowance for the project.
• The arborist will assist as needed the crew for work specifications/clarifications as well as address client concerns all while maintaining proper lines of communication with the owners/office/crew/client regarding this.
• The arborist will spend time as needed with the office addressing questions/concerns as it relates to the arborist’s clients/projects.
• The arborist MUST maintain all arboriculture related credentials.
• The arborist will maintain a professional appearance, attitude, and atmosphere as well as adhere to all set forth company policies/procedures.

The company will provide the following:

• Cover expenses for training and continuing education relating to arboriculture

Compensation

• $75k annual salary to be paid weekly or biweekly at the company's discretion, as well as commission-based incentive after the arborists has reached the annual sales goal of $1 M.
• J.M. Tree Service will pay up to $500.00 per month towards health insurance coverage or 70% towards health insurance coverage, whichever is the lesser value.

Commission Incentive

• The arborist will earn a commission on their sales above and beyond the annual sales goal of $1 M
• Any work sold in conjunction with other sales representative(s) will have the assessed commission split evenly.
