Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Caregiver to join our team and provide exceptional support to individuals in various care settings. As a Certified Caregiver, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for residents by delivering personalized care with enthusiasm and professionalism. Responsibilities
- Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility support
- Monitor and record vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature to ensure health stability
- Administer medications accurately following prescribed schedules and protocols
- Provide specialized care for residents with Alzheimer’s disease, dementia, or other memory impairments
- Support residents during meals by preparing nutritious food and assisting with eating as needed
- Utilize Vital sign equipment systems to document care activities and resident progress efficiently
- Operate assistive devices such as Hoyer lifts and other mobility aids to promote safety during transfers
- Engage residents in social activities and therapeutic programs to foster mental stimulation and emotional well-being
- Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light housekeeping duties within personal care homes or community settings
- Drive residents when necessary for appointments or outings while adhering to safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid certification as a Caregiver or Nursing Assistant (CNA) preferred; relevant training in first aid is highly desirable
- Proven experience working in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or home & community care environments
- Familiarity with long-term care practices including Alzheimer’s care, dementia management, and behavioral support techniques
- Ability to assist with ADLs effectively while maintaining dignity and respect for residents’ independence
- Knowledge of vital signs measurement, medication administration, and basic health monitoring procedures
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or disabilities requiring specialized support is a plus
- Strong communication skills combined with a caring attitude; ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Valid driver’s license preferred for driving residents safely when necessary and current car insurance

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
