Certified Caregiver/Med Tech

Job Summary:
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide assistance and support to individuals in need. As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in improving the quality of life for our clients by assisting with daily activities and ensuring their well-being. This position requires experience in working with individuals with developmental disabilities, autism, and hospice care.

Duties:
- Provide personal care and assistance to clients, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Administer medications as prescribed by healthcare professionals
- Assist with mobility and transfers, including heavy lifting when necessary
- Monitor vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the appropriate healthcare professionals
- Support clients in maintaining a clean and safe living environment
- Engage in social activities and provide companionship to promote emotional well-being
- Follow all HIPAA regulations to ensure client privacy and confidentiality

Qualifications:

- MUST have current CPR/first aid training. Finger print clearance card. Current TB test. - -- MUST have a current caregiver certificate for all 3 levels of care.
- Previous experience working in assisted living or home care settings is preferred
- Knowledge of working with individuals with developmental disabilities, autism, or hospice care is required
- Strong communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals
- Ability to perform tasks that may require physical strength, such as lifting or transferring clients
- Compassionate and patient nature with a genuine desire to help others
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently as well as part of a team

Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
