Our company is looking for a Certified Computer Technician to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Handles escalated problems and requests as appropriate.
- Travel within an hour’s distance to complete on-site visits with clients.
- May interface with third party vendors to resolve certain hardware/software problems.
- May contribute to desktop/laptop software evaluations and upgrades.
- If replacement is recommended, discuss options with clients that would best meet their needs.
- Troubleshoots technical computing problems.
- Troubleshooting different computer issues.
- Lifting and moving new electronics.
- Ensuring customer satisfaction is achieved.
- Configure computer networks.
- Troubleshooting and solving technical issues related to end user equipment hardware and software.
- Diagnose and correct equipment failure and malfunctions and replace or repair malfunctioning equipment.
- Install, configure, test, maintain, monitor, and troubleshoot end user workstation hardware.
- Installing software or hardware.
- Basic hardware and Windows software troubleshooting.
- Install, configure, test, maintain, monitor, and troubleshoot associated end user workstation software.
- Accurately and timely document all support activities per approved policies and procedures.
- Communicate progress with coworkers, as well as with clients.
- Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries, offering technical support, and ensuring a positive overall experience.
Requirements:
- Valid A+ certification required.
- Valid Network+ and Server+ certifications preferred.
- 1+ years of applicable work experience.
- Valid driver’s license with no restrictions.
- Reliable vehicle to complete on-site visits with clients. Travel is within an hour’s drive.
- Experience supporting Microsoft Windows 7, Windows 10, Windows 11, and MS Office 2013 and newer, including MS Office 365.
- Experience supporting Mac OS, Mac IOS, and Mac Creator Studio.
- Experience supporting Linux Systems and distributions.
- Experience using Zoho One or a similar ticketing and CRM system.
- Experience using Square or a similar POS system.
- Capable of lifting 50-pound systems and printers.
- Capable of standing and moving between stations 80% of the time.
- This position requires the candidate to be at our Hutchinson, KS office each workday. This is not a remote/work-from-home position.

Pay: From $15.00 per hour
Education:
- High school or equivalent (Preferred)
Experience:
