Emerge Marine specializes in marine construction, heavy lift, and recovery operations. We’re experts in barge-based projects, vessel salvage, and emergency marine response across inland waterways and coastal zones.

Job Summary

We’re looking for a Certified Crane Operator to join our marine construction and recovery team. The ideal candidate is experienced with barge-mounted cranes, understands marine safety, and can deploy on short notice for emergency response operations including salvage, wreck removal, or storm recovery.

Responsibilities

· Operate pedestal, hydraulic, or lattice-boom cranes aboard barges.

· Execute lifts safely in coordination with rigging and deck crews.

· Perform inspections and maintain compliance with OSHA/USCG standards.

· Read load charts, lift plans, and follow job-specific procedures.

· Support emergency deployments for marine recovery or environmental response.

· Assist with barge setup, mooring, and site preparation.

Requirements

· Valid NCCCO or NCCER Crane Operator Certification (Required).

· TWIC Card preferred.

· 3+ years of crane operation experience in marine or heavy construction.

· Ability to travel and deploy for emergency response.

· Strong understanding of lift safety, rigging, and marine operations.

Pay: $40.00 - $65.00 per hour
