Job Summary
Janz Medical Supply is seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Certified Custom Compression Fitter & DME Sales Associate to join our team. In this role, you will work directly with patients to measure and fit custom and ready-to-wear compression garments for conditions such as lymphedema, venous disease, and post-surgical swelling.

In addition to compression fittings, this role will also serve as a Durable Medical Equipment (DME) Sales Associate, assisting customers with selecting and obtaining appropriate medical equipment and supplies based on their needs and physician recommendations. The ideal candidate provides excellent customer service, demonstrates strong product knowledge, and supports patients with education and guidance to ensure proper use of their equipment and garments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct private consultations to measure and fit custom and ready-to-wear compression garments
  • Recommend appropriate compression products and levels based on physician prescriptions and patient needs
  • Educate patients and caregivers on proper garment use and care
  • Assist customers with selecting DME products and supplies based on their needs
  • Verify insurance information and assist with patient intake and documentation
  • Coordinate with physicians, therapists, and billing teams for patient care and claims processing
  • Maintain accurate patient records in compliance with HIPAA
  • Assist with inventory, ordering, and monthly reporting
  • Provide excellent customer service and assist with product sales
  • Maintain store cleanliness, organization, and safety standards

Qualifications

  • Certified Fitter of Compression Garments (CF-C) or similar certification (ABC or BOC preferred)
  • 1–2 years of patient-facing experience, preferably in Durable Medical Equipment or compression therapy
  • Ability to take accurate measurements and understand anatomy related to lymphedema and venous disease
  • Strong communication, organizational, and customer service skills
  • Basic computer skills for documentation and insurance processing

Pay: $19.23 per hour
