Certified Dental Assistant – Polishing & Sealants (Spanish Required)

Alto Dental is seeking a friendly, skilled Certified Dental Assistant to support our growing general dentistry practice. The ideal candidate is certified in coronal polishing and dental sealants, speaks Spanish, and brings at least one year of clinical experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist during clinical procedures
• Perform coronal polishing and apply dental sealants (Illinois certification required)
• Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments
• Take digital X‑rays and intraoral photos
• Update patient records and review medical histories
• Communicate clearly and compassionately with patients — Spanish fluency required
• Support front‑office tasks as needed (scheduling, patient flow, treatment coordination)

Required Qualifications

• Active Illinois Dental Assistant Certification
• Coronal Polishing Certification
• Dental Sealant Certification
• Minimum 1 year of dental assisting experience
• Fluent in Spanish and English
• Strong knowledge of chairside assisting and infection control
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
