Certified Elementary School Reading and Math Tutor

WK Tutoring is seeking an experienced, certified elementary school teacher to provide in‑home 1:1 tutoring with a strong emphasis on math instruction for students in grades K–5. The ideal candidate has at least two years of classroom experience, deep knowledge of the NYC math curriculum and state testing standards, and the ability to deliver clear, engaging, differentiated lessons that build confidence and skills. Responsibilities include individualized math support, supplemental literacy help as needed, communication with families, and traveling to students’ homes. Experience with special education, intervention work and knowledge of executive functioning support is a plus.
