We committed to providing a safe, efficient, and productive environment for our employees and clients. We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Certified Facility Manager (CFM) to oversee the planning, operation, and maintenance of our facilities.

Position Summary

The Certified Facility Manager will be responsible for managing day-to-day facility operations, strategic planning, vendor management, and compliance across multiple sites. This role requires a proactive professional with strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of best practices in facility management, and the ability to drive continuous improvement in safety, sustainability, and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee maintenance, repair, and operations of building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, security, etc.)
  • Develop and implement facility-related policies, emergency preparedness plans, and maintenance schedules
  • Manage vendor relationships and service contracts to ensure quality and cost-effectiveness
  • Monitor facility budgets, forecast expenditures, and manage capital improvement projects
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, ADA, fire codes, and all relevant regulatory requirements
  • Lead environmental sustainability initiatives and energy-saving strategies
  • Plan and manage facility expansions, renovations, or relocations
  • Maintain asset inventories, equipment documentation, and maintenance records
  • Coordinate workspace planning, office layout, and employee move management
  • Respond to facility-related emergencies and provide timely resolutions
  • Lead and supervise facility staff and external contractors

Qualifications Required:

  • Current Certified Facility Manager (CFM) credential from IFMA
  • Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 5+ years of experience in facilities management or operations
  • Strong knowledge of building systems, workplace safety, and maintenance practices
  • Experience with budget planning, vendor negotiations, and project management
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency with CMMS software and Microsoft Office Suite

Preferred:

  • Experience managing multi-site facilities
  • Knowledge of sustainability initiatives and energy management programs
  • Certification in OSHA, LEED, or Project Management (PMP)
